Route details

Short characteristics

It is a light MTB loop with a lot of small ascents and descents generally not exceeding 7%. It leads along dirt, forest and field roads. It has two convenient starting points – Karlow and Batorowo. The former makes it easy to add an on-foot climb to Szczeliniec to the bicycle loop. The direction of the description is clockwise. You can easily reverse it.

Karlow – Batorowo

You start in a great tourist attraction of the Stolowe Mountains National Park. For the first few kilometres you circle both the Szczeliniec Maly and Wielki Mountains. On the way, there is the iconic Pasterka Mountain Hostel. After entering the forest, you cycle a longer, very charming section in a wavy and variable terrain. This is probably the most interesting part of the loop. After passing the Road of One Hundred Turns, you continue your ride in the forest.

Batorowo-Karlow

It is definitely a shorter section. It runs through a fairly open forest area and on luxurious gravel roads. On the way, you pass some interesting rock formations. However, the real attractions (White Rocks) are 200m away and you must modify the route a bit. You have to remember that this is definitely more difficult terrain to ride. On the other hand, it is a pity to miss such impressive forms. You finish the route in Karlow.
