Short characteristics

The track is complete and perfect. There are: a ride at the foot of the mountains, entry into a
mountain valley and an excellent ford, a forest ravine over a stream, or in a swamp forest. In
addition, you can enjoy the classic sections on various mountain roads and hiking paths.
There are plenty of stones, roots, and plant debris, which are the worst. It is really steep in
places. The route starts at Bielawa Lake and the description goes counterclockwise.

1. Bielawa – crossroads near the  Great Owl Mountain (Góra Wielka Sowa)

First, you ride on the edge of the forest with a view over Bielawa and Pieszyce. Once
you have passed Kamionna, you enter the valley and then cycle into the forest crossing
the interesting gorge mentioned before. It is much quieter out there and you still have
Potoczkowa (Stream) Glade ahead. This is where the first short stony zone begins.

2. Crossroads –  Great Owl Mountain (Góra Wielka Sowa) – Small Owl Mountain (Góra Mała Sowa)
 – Owl Mountain Hostel

In short it is ‘fighting the stones’. The owners of wide tires at low pressure will be satisfied.

3. Owl Mountain Hostel – Goat Saddle Pass (Przejście Kozie Siodło) – Jugowska Pass

At the beginning it is a quiet ride but further from the Sowa Mountain Hostel it gets a bit
rocky up to Goat Saddle Pass (Przełęcz Kozie Siodło). On the way to Bear Rock  Skala (Skała Niedźwiedzia), you will find
a plaque commemorating Hermann Henkel with a poem by him:
In the mountains I become real again; there we become brothers and all that is ugly and
trivial leaves us.

4. Mini loop to Zygmuntowka

It is very steep – for the stubborn or … the very effort hungry…

5. Jugowska Pass – Bielawa Glade

It is smooth wide long gravel path cut into the slopes of the mountains. The steepness is
moderate and you can enjoy some nice views. The ride across the ski slope over the
Zygmuntowka mountain hostel is particularly impressive.

6. Bielawa Glade – Sloneczna

It is a sensational but difficult section on the pedestrian track. There are numerous stones and
tree roots. On the way, there is an observation tower on the Kalenica mountain.

7. Sloneczna – Bielawa

At the beginning, it is a very steep track cut into the terrain followed by a worn asphalt path to
the town.
