Route details
Short characteristics
It is a wonderful and varied loop. It is not too difficult, but the total length means that I recommend it to more advanced riders.
- Together with Rudka
You start at the gate on the slopes of the Janowiec Mountain. This red section is common to both loops. It is varied, not very difficult and follows the natural path.
- Red on
I choose a left turn, which is marked red. It is a section which you would call ‘tourist’. You follow a comfortable path with wavy slopes of the Zmijowiec and Czarna (Black) Mountains and you pass a few streams. You also cross numerous ski and bicycle downhill routes (here you have to watch out for those riding down) and finish on asphalt and gravel roads.
- Downhill part 1 (blue marking)
There is an important modification added to it in October 2020. This section is made to a very high standard on deeply indented shelves and, across the wetland, you ride on long wooden bridges.
- Downhill part 2
It is a sensational and very ecological downhill route. The narrow path is of a warm bright colour of grit. In its upper section you ride among the pines, pass an overgrown with a forest clearing in the middle and enter the forest below again. It is very green, nicely cumbered and interesting.
