Route details

Short characteristics

Weavers’ trail is a MTB track led in a very scenic hilly area on asphalt roads with moderate car traffic. The track is marked as K4 Green. It is worth remembering, because it allows you to quickly and conveniently get from Rudawy Janowickie and the Kanienne Mountains to Swiebodzice and the local train station (or the next stop in Jaworzyna Slaska). For this reason, the natural direction of travel is the route from the south to the north and we have prepared such a description. In addition, it is worth spending about 2-3 hours to explore Kamienna Gora itself and its numerous monuments (we present only some of them here). Note: You pass the Trojgarb mountain along the way, so you can enrich your trip with this valuable element. It is to 7km up, 420m of elevation gain level and up to 17% steepness of the slope.

1. Kamienna Gora – Jaczkow (0-5.7 km)

It is a light climb and descent with a view over the Rudawy Janowickie Mountains.

2. Jaczkow – Gostkow (5.7-9.9 km)

It is the most impressive section of the route with a rather long but easy uphill stretch and beautiful views over the Trojgarb mountain, the Rudawy Janowickie and the Karkonosze Mountains.

3. Gostkow – Stare Bogaczowice (9.9-20.0 km)

You can enjoy a long and calm, approx. 5% steep, ride among the village buildings along the Strzegomka River in its spectacular gorges.

4. Stare Bogaczowice – Swiebodzice (20.0-26.2 km)

There is a short but steep uphill stretch (10%) once you have passed Stare Bogaczowice, just past Cisow. There is a fantastic view over the town with the Sleza mountain in the background. A spectacular downhill section ends the route.
