Route details

This is an over 21km long one-way loop consisting mainly (in 77%) of one-way dedicated bike paths where pedestrians are not allowed. The rest are existing gravel roads and a stretch of asphalt. This Singletrack is dedicated to the more experienced cyclists. It is fast and narrow. Sometimes very narrow. In many places there is thick rubble, which must be taken into account. Some turns require sharp braking. This raw character should appeal to the Enduro, XC or MTB enthusiasts. I definitely recommend it.

  1. The main uphill section (0-5.1 km)

It is an investment. You start at the car park in Jakuszyce. At the Stanislaw mine you reach the highest ordinate on the loop. I recommend turning there and completing all available excavation levels.

  1. Varied up to Wysoki Kamien (5.1 – 9.1 km)

Let’s start the ride! At 8.2 km, you enter the hiking red trail for a moment, continuing on it, you can easily reach Wysoki Kamien. It is worth the effort. Returning to the route, you have the best view of the Karkonosze Mountains. If you want to take pictures somewhere, go there.

  1. The first downhill section (9.1 – 12.9 km)

Past or rather under Wysoki Kamien, there is the start of what you have been waiting for: the most interesting and the longest descent. It is fast, narrow and basically straight ahead.

  1. The second downhill section (14.4 – 17.2 km)

Having cycled the gravel uphill stretch, there is another pleasant downhill ride. In the middle of this section, you will find a series of heavily banded turns.

  1. Chillout (17.2 – 21.2 km)

At the beginning, you ride on a gravel road passing post-industrial remains and the last two kilometres are led on a beautiful path along the Kamienna river. It is ideal for family tourism. You simple cannot help but smile remembering the previous challenges.

On the basis of Single Track Szklarska 14 you can easily create your own variants: from a mini family loop (3.5 km), to a longer variant which avoids the most difficult part (14 km).
