On the bike tour you can follow the tracks of the Lusatian wolves. Since the end of the 1990s, several wolf packs live in Lusatia again. On the way you will get to know the settlement area of the wolves. The thematic bike trail leads from Weißwasser via the Nochten erratic block park to Rietschen. You will encounter dense pine forests, inland dunes, ponds and flowing waters along the way. But also small villages and the memorable mining and post-mining landscape are in the patrol area of the Lusatian wolves. Get to know the varied mixture of open country and closed forest areas, which offers the wolf such favorable hunting conditions for deer and wild boar. Not only the wolf feels at home here, but also other protected species, such as otters, white-tailed eagles and cranes, which guests can observe with a little luck.

In the wolf barn of the Erlichthofsiedlung Rietschen there is an exhibition about the life of wolves. The contact office Wolfsregion Lausitz is also located here, which provides visitors with up-to-date information about the Lusatian wolf occurrence.

Information boards at various locations along the trail provide insightful information about the biology and lifestyle of wolves.
