Route details

The Odra river trail part IV
You can find a short characteristics of the entire trail at DOT70.

Lesnica-Brzeg Dolny
It is a rather wide 76 km long loop. It can be divided into parts using the train stations in Brzeg Dolny or Ksieginice. You start at the Millennium bridge and go clockwise. At the beginning you ride the city’s bicycle paths and, once you have passed Lesnica, the largest Wroclaw forest. Then, you continue on the southern route (i.e. the official one) mostly on smaller asphalt roads among the fields. In the north, there is a greater variety of terrain and you ride much closer to the Odra river, partly on its embankments. This loop coincides, to a large extent, with the yellow pedestrian and bicycle Trail of Turon (look DOT69, part 2.). However, you avoid the most challenging sections. There are plenty of beautiful views of the wide river, and on the section from Kotowice to the very end you ride on a comfortable, collision-free, gravel road (described in DOT72).
